Our School
“Acquire knowledge for tranquility and peace”
Omar Ibn Al-Khattab
The blending of Islamic traditions and collaborative learning has given birth to Universal Muslim Academy, where students are encouraged to be independent and critical thinkers while making life-long friendships with their Muslim peers. UMA aspires to teach and train the future leaders of our community where well-read, global citizens uphold the noble traditions of our faith such as honesty, respect, altruism, charity and gratitude.
Academic and behavior standards are set high at UMA where students are challenged to be critical thinkers through a vigorous Montessori and Traditional curriculum. Arabic and Quran memorization are part of their daily schedule and Islamic education is incorporated in the student’s curriculum.
